Keep the Flame Burning
The NSGA is a 501(c)3, non-profit, corporation dedicated to promoting healthy and active lifestyles for athletes age 50 and over. A recognized multi-sport organization of the United States Olympic Committee, the NSGA is comprised of 50 Member Organizations and 2 Associate Member Organizations who conduct state or national multi-sport competitions, which serve as qualifiers for the National Senior Games.
Thanks to federal coronavirus relief legislation, taxpayers are now able to take advantage of a new deduction for donating to qualifying charities — up to $300 for individual returns. This applies even if they don’t itemize, which is favorable news for many tax filers.
Benefits of Giving to the National Senior Games Association
- Our organization offers tax deductions and other financial incentives for giving to IRS recognized charities. Realize immediate tax benefits and give when it meets your goals.
- You can receive a federal income tax deduction for charitable lifetime gifts, if you itemize deductions on your tax return and keep receipts. You can receive a federal estate tax deduction after death if you’ve made charitable gifts to IRS recognized charities through your will, trust or beneficiary designation.
Deferred gifts of significant assets, such as gifts of cash, appreciated stock or property or other assets are a remarkable legacy for ongoing support of NSGA and its mission.
