• Open sport: There is no qualifying step for this sport. You do not need to place at a State Senior Games or meet any performance standards to register for the National Senior Games. While not required, competing at a State Senior Games is a great way to prepare for the National Games.

*Lead climbing proficiency evaluation: If you enter the lead climbing event, you must pass an on-site safety assessment before competing. If you do not pass, you will be moved into the top rope event.

Athletes must provide their own climbing shoes and chalk. Ropes, harnesses and related gear will be provided.
