Shelbi Lowery

Shelbi Lowery is a community-driven sports management professional with over a decade of experience in nonprofit organizations and nearly five years dedicated to multi-sport event operations and inclusive programming. Shelbi has deep, generational roots in Colorado Springs and is proud to be raising her own family in her hometown. She is married to someone with equally strong ties to the community, and together they have two children, ages 10 and 9. As a true sports family, Shelbi loves seeing the positive impact of sports in her children’s lives and throughout the community.
As Director of Community Sports at the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, Shelbi leads and coordinates major athletic festivals, including the Rocky Mountain State Games and Colorado Senior Games, fostering accessibility and engagement for athletes of all ages and abilities. Shelbi is passionate about promoting Colorado Springs as a premier destination for sports and community development. She is committed to advancing opportunities across the lifespan through innovative outreach and partnership building.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Gerontology from Colorado State University.
