Climbing

Open sport: There is no qualifying step for this sport. You do not need to place at a State Senior Games or meet any performance standards to register for the National Senior Games.
State competition: While not required, competing at a State Senior Games is encouraged as a way to build confidence on the wall before the national stage.
Lead climbing safety rule: If you enter the lead climbing event, you must pass an on-site safety assessment before competing. If you do not pass, you will be moved into the top rope event.
