The Hy-Vee Multiplex Powered by the City of Grimes (Formerly GrimesPlex) will be the home of Softball for the 2025 National Senior Games presented by Humana. The 50-acre multi-sport complex features six regulation-sized (300') softball fields with two additional fields at 280'. The fields are synthetic turf and the outfields are separated by breakaway fencing, so each "pod" will have ample warm-up room. The complex is equipped with lighting for night play, and shade structures will be added to the facility in the spring of 2025. There are two concession stands/bathroom pavilions and bleacher seating at each field. The facility has over 1,200 free parking spaces and is located west of Highway 141 north of Hy-Vee in the Hope District, about 13 miles from downtown Des Moines.
