Mary joined the National Senior Games Association in 2023 as the Director of Communications and Media. In this role, she leads the organization’s communications strategy to build awareness of, support for and participation in Senior Games nationwide.
Mary first connected with the NSGA in 2015 when she worked in the media center for the National Senior Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She fell in love with the event and returned to support media efforts for the 2017, 2019 and 2022 National Senior Games.
Before joining the NSGA full-time, Mary was the Director of Strategic Communications and Public Affairs at United Way of Southeast Louisiana. Here, she created compelling, story-based content, supported local and state advocacy efforts, oversaw social media strategy, managed external digital communications and more.
Mary holds a degree in mass communication with a focus in public relations from Louisiana State University. When not at work, you’ll find her on the water with her rowing team, walking her dog, Milo, or spending time with friends and family.
