Marc T. Riker serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the NSGA. He joined the team in 2011 as the Director of National Games and was responsible for the successful execution of the NSGA’s premier event, the National Senior Games. He currently is the leader of the NSGA staff. He is also responsible for working closely with the current and future hosts of The Games. Before joining the NSGA, Marc was the Executive Director of the Alabama Sports Festival for 10 years. The Alabama Sports Festival conducts an annual multi-sport Olympic style competition for the residents of all ages. Marc served as a volunteer during the 1996 Paralympic and Olympic Games. Plus, he has attended the 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2012 Olympics. Additional career experiences involved serving as a YMCA Aquatic Director and Head Swim Coach for 10 years. Marc’s numerous professional affiliations show a true commitment to the health, education and wellness of athletes of all ages. These affiliations have included:

His professional honors and accomplishments continue to show this dedication and excellence in a life of sports. These include achieving Eagle Scout and receiving the American Swim Coaches Association Award of Excellence and the United States Sports Academy Outstanding Alumnus of the Year. Marc has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy.
