Denise Kelly
Denise Kelly is an occupational therapist and entrepreneur who has dedicated her career to engaging older adults in rehabilitation and fitness to improve their quality of life. Her passion for rehab began when she was just 8 years old, when she and her siblings practiced “patterning” – a method that integrates and normalizes bilateral movements to improve function – with a girl in their neighborhood. After earning a BS in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and an MBA from Lesley University, Denise founded and grew Ageility into a national rehab company for older adults with over 200 clinics across 32 states.
Denise’s involvement with NSGA began when her company Ageility served as a national sponsor of the Senior Games. She quickly realized this was a like-minded organization dedicated to bringing distinction and quality of life to older adults. In November 2023, she was appointed to the Board of Directors.
Denise recently retired from Ageility and founded D Kelly Consulting, which supports and advises organizations in the 55+ community on rehab and fitness business opportunities. Semi-retirement allows Denise more time to enjoy her hobbies, including hiking, kayaking, golf, cooking, and attending sporting events. She resides in the greater Boston area.
