Bill Tingley
Bill joined the National Senior Games Swimming Competition at the 2005 Games in Pittsburgh serving as the liaison to the NSGA from United States Masters Swimming. In 2007, he was hired to be the Competition Manager for Swimming at the 2007 Games in Louisville and became the National Swimming Chair for the NSGA in 2010 for the Games in Houston. In 1991, Bill ran the USMS National Championships as Meet Director. Bill served on the USMS Rules committee from 2002 to 2011. As a NFHS Official, Bill has served as the administrative referee for the past 15 years for the Kentucky High School State Championships. As a certified College Official, he has officiated the Big East and Sunbelt Conference Championships. Bill was a High School All-American in Louisville, Kentucky and a three-year Division 1 All-American at Southern Illinois University. He still competes and has achieved one World Championship in backstroke, 10 National Championships in backstroke, and USMS All-American three times. Since 1980, he has been the ASCA Masters Level 2, head coach of the Lakeside Masters Swim Team which has 105 swimmers.
