Becky was previously employed with Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Topeka/Shawnee County since 1991. She has served as the Director of the Kansas Senior Olympics, Topeka, Kansas since 2000. In addition, to the Kansas Senior Olympics, Becky is responsible for the recreation programming for seniors for the City of Topeka/Shawnee County. She is the original Task Force Member for the Kansas Relatives as Parents Program.
