Annie Laskey
Annie Laskey discovered the Senior Games movement in 2017 when she joined the staff of the Pasadena Senior Center as Events Director and took over management of the Games, which had been founded in 1994 by the late Cynthia Rosedale. Not an athlete herself, she is a photography enthusiast and has spent many happy hours photographing the Games and getting to know the athletes. Annie has been involved with nonprofits as an employee, board member, and volunteer for all of her adult life. She graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Theater, with an emphasis in directing and ran a summer theatre festival in Los Angeles in the 1990s. Prior to the Pasadena Senior Center, she managed an award-winning architectural walking tour program for a regional nonprofit.
