The National Senior Games is the largest multi-sport event in the world for senior athletes. It has been held every two years since 1987 at host cities from coast to coast, and most recently Birmingham, Alabama in 2017. Albuquerque, New Mexico is excited to play host to The Games in 2019! Men and women 50 and over qualify in even numbered years at sanctioned state games, and we hope to attract over 10,000 athletes to compete in 20 medal sports in the 2019 National Senior Games Presented by Humana. We are thrilled to be hosting this prestigious event and for the opportunity to deliver a great experience, showcase our amazing city and venues, and highlight the wonderful culture we have here in New Mexico!

We appreciate your interest in volunteering for the 2019 National Senior Games presented by Humana.  With 10,000+ athletes from all over the country, more than 3,000 volunteers will be needed to make this event a huge success for Albuquerque.

WHEN: June 14-25, 2019

WHAT: Albuquerque is looking for energetic, dedicated individuals to volunteer for the 2019 National Senior Games. Albuquerque will host approximately 10,000 athletes, ages 50+, to compete in 20 different competition sports.

REQUIREMENTS: Volunteer typically serve a minimum of 4 hours and will receive training as well as a t-shirt and admittance into the volunteer hospitality area. 

***We require anyone age 15 or younger to be accompanied by an adult.
