5K 6:30pm (Evening Race), 10K 7:30am (Morning Race) - Both Certified Courses



MISC INFORMATION

2018 Participant List: Participant Lists will be posted shortly after registration has closed.

Practice Information: No Practice Times - course will not be set up

Inclement Weather Policy: Road Races will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, a 30-minute wait per lightning strike will be enforced.



ENTRY REGULATIONS

1. Athletes may enter only the event(s) in which he/she has qualified.

2. Individuals who want to qualify in the 5K and 10K Road Race must run the events separately. You cannot use your 5K split time from a 10K race to qualify for the 5K.

3. A 5000M and 10000M track event cannot be used as a qualifying event for the 5K and 10K road race, respectively.



QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

1. All first-, second-, third- and fourth-place winners or athletes meeting this sport’s NSGA minimum performance standards in competition at a 2018 NSGA qualifying games will qualify for the 2019 National Senior Games.



MEDALS / AWARDS

Awards will be presented for 1st through 8th place for each style within each age division. All medals and ribbons MUST be collected during the Games. The NSGA will not mail MEDALS or RIBBONS after the Games.

The Launch Field at Balloon Fiesta Park offers a large space perfect for sporting events. The Launch Field is home to numerous runs, sporting events, flying events and festivals. The 47-acre Launch Field has space for over 20 game fields.

10K Road Race
Albuquerque’s premiere multi-use trail, the Paseo del Bosque Trail, goes from the north to the south edges of the metro area through the Rio Grande’s cottonwood bosque (forest). It is 16 miles of paved multi-use uninterrupted by roadways. Ample parking at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
