Cathy Pottorf

Cathy has organized and supervised the Texas State Senior Games since 2011. Prior to that she coordinated the San Antonio Senior Games for 15 years, growing the games from an average of 800 participants to more than 2,000 annually.

A graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, she has a degree in Marketing and held several marketing and advertising positions before joining the Jewish Community Center in 1993. Besides managing Senior Games, she spent 20 years as the Membership Director at the Jewish Community Center. Currently she is the Director of Senior Programming. She was instrumental in developing the Sports for Life Program which keeps the 50 and over individual active on a year round basis instead of just participating once a year in the Senior Games.

Cathy is married with three children and two grandchildren.
